Hey Guys, I finally got around to painting my valve cover with this stuff and it started to turn out great. Nice and even coat and drying nicely. Then all of a sudden, the valve cover, with the tacky VHT paint fell over lol. So, a part of it got runny and "thicker" than other areas, mainly the right side of the valve cover. I tried to respray to make it even again and let it dry.
Now that it's dry, the area that I tried to repair is extra wrinkly. Looks like really bad orange peel as opposed to "wrinkle" paint on other areas of the valve cover.
I'm really not too thrilled on stripping and masking the ENTIRE valve cover again to repaint. Is this kind of stuff possible to spot repair and blend? Would you recommend stripping the trouble area then respray or sanding then respray?
