I have a 1992 honda accord automatic with 114000 miles. I have had trouble as it would not go into first or fourth gear. I had it diagnosed by 3 independent Honda shops. All said it was the transmission based on their complete mechanical, electrical computer daignostic. I have had them try and replace the tranny 4 times ( yes 4 used trannys all with the same issue after a few days ) All with used transmissions. Each one has worked for 5 days to two weeks and then it goes back to the exact same problem. No 1st or 4th gear. It worked perfectly for that time and then kaput!! Same old issue. I have tried the dealership with calls and 1800 honda and nobody seems to know. Any ideas?
