Hi guys this is my first post

I own a 2005 Honda CR-V and ordered new headlights to replace the stock ones. I ordered OEM ones but forgot to check my VIN before I placed the order. Well the headlights are already on their way to my house now and they are for JAPAN BUILT CR-Vs only. I looked at my VIN a few minutes ago and it starts with an "S" so from what I've read it is made in the UK.

Do you guys know if the Japan CR-V headlights will fit the UK models without modification? I really don't want to have to return these things.

While I highly doubt you'll have fitment issues, there might be some rules / regulations in your country / region that require certain type of a headlight or a certain reflector inside the headlight.
As long as you ordered the correct year / model, I don't foresee any issues. Don't stress over it.
Also, why are you replacing your headlights?

 

Well the lights came in and I put them on the car and everything fit perfectly! The only thing I notice is the beam pattern is more suitable for actual vehicles in Japan (where you drive on the left side of the road) but on have them aimed to not be a bother to anybody.

I'm replacing them because my stock ones were retrofitted with hid projectors and I needed the parts in it for my other vehicle.. that and the stock headlights had terrible hazing issue a few years after the car was bought brand new
