Default need a source for repair pigtails

Hi all!
Hoping someone out has a source for connector pigtails. my son-inlaw has a 93 Civic with a transplanted 95 del sol vtech in it. most of the sensor connectors are in bad shape, housings brittle and cracking. there not worth the time to try and repair. in particular is the one for the cooling fan switch. i have tried to repair it twice, but the pins just work themselves loose inside the housing.

I would like to replace all the major sensor connectors with new pigtilals verses junk yard "junk".

If anyone knows where i can get them, i would appreciate it.

What I meant was they simply build a link specific to your desired search request (ie 92 civic pigtails). Then when you actually go there, they don't actually have such a thing for sale. The whole point being to simply get you to their site and increase their hit-count via google. Internets are getting annoying these days.

Honestly I'd just buy an entire harness online via ebay, Craigslist partout, marketplace. I have connectors with pigtails if you need some but sounds like you may need a newer harness if it's in that bad of shape.

Dr. Tweak has buckets of brand new old stock yota electrical connectors.

is there no source for Honda electrical connectors? I guess I could use GM connectors since they're inexpensive

You can get the pins from Honda, but they're hard to sort out. And they're only sold in quantities of 50 - 100, so expect to pay $50 - $100 for each type of pin you need. AMP and Tyco make most or all of the connector shells and pins, so if you can find a distributor that lets you buy small quantities and you can figure out what pins you need that will usually work.

Rywire might be able to hook you up with something too.

Thanks for the replies guys. i haven't found a good source yet, but i think i found the one i need right now. as most of you probably already know, several different sensors will use the same style connector. on this one, the IAT sensor, cooling fan switch and i think IACV are the same. i didn't unplug the IACV to be sure, but i think it is.

Anyway, skimming through google images i found one on EBAY. it was listed as an IAT pigtail. says it's new, so someone is making them. for $12 i ordered it today and see what happens when i get it. i still want to find a one stop place to get the rest. i will check out AMP and Tyco, and a source for the pins, but it's much easier to just get a pigtail if available.

Theres a few sellers on ebay who are selling boxes full of Honda connectors. I think buying a used harness is the best way to go

No offence, but used is used. i have a used one right now. it's very difficult to tell how brittle plastic is just by looking. it makes no sense to me to go through the time and expense to install a used harness, only to have connectors breaking when i plug them in or next time i try to unplug them. or worse, having to troubleshoot a bad wire inside a supposedly "good used" harness.

Used is a " LAST RESORT" on ANYTHING electrical. when i fix something, i fix it right, if at all possible.
