Default 1999 originally d15z4 with p2c ecu swapped to b16a v-tec with p30, problem.

Hi there I have been reading some treds where u helped somone on main relay / ecu wiring problems I also did all the test and as you said it shows to be an bad ecu now what I want to find out is did you maby do the diy on the ecu becoz I do not know someone with a ecu for me to test with if you did I would appreciate if you could help me thanx

If you followed his tests and it shows no other failure than yes, try another ecu.

Hi tony the problem is I don't have a another p30 only p2c and I think it won't work

Its a hard process to repair an ecu without the proper layout for it. Which is why we , even in the helms manual, say to try another ecu. Since you basicly need to start the car I would suggest you use the p2c for JUST THAT. Once you confirm that the car is running just shut the car off immediately.

Cull so basically I'm only going to use n few pinouts on the p2c why I'm asking is that the pinouts on the p2c connectors a and b are not the same as the p30? So it's not just for plug in and try

Well I have a Honda civic 1999 d15z4 with p2c ecu now I got a b16a v-tec with p30 everything is standard

Are you using a conversion harness? There just little details of whats going on.

Nope the harness I got with the moter was mutch older so what I did was I took only the motor side of harness and wired it into my cars harness in other words took my motor harness out and put new motor harness in no harness adapters
