I am about to lower my car with H&R race springs today, but my right front wheel wont come off!!! The lugs came off without a problem, and so did the hubcap (stock steelies BTW), but the wheel will not budge. When I took the front left wheel off i noticed that there was a little bit of rust where the steelie comes in contact with the hub when its bolted on.. Could my steelie be rusted to the hub? How the hell can I get it off?? I have pulled on it, pushed on it, popped a vein in my forehead tugging on the damn thing, and nothing. HELP!!!

sledge hammer, and i'm not joking. Last time my friends wheel got stuck like that. We fought with it for about 30min and finally got the big guns out. Don't hit to hard, but we smacked it a couple times from behind the wheel and it came off. I don't know what the cause is though, so if anyone could give that, that would be helpful. If it's just the rust, that sucks.

 

give it a few firm hits with a big hammer alternating top and bottom... That always works for me! Of course I just sit on the floor and kick it... I don't need a hammer but if you dont want to sit on the floor...

 

i have the same problem with my slicks, after a few runs they won't come off unless I kick them from the inside.
