Default Obd2B civic chassis help with Rywire subharness.

Website link on rywire.com is broken or something. I keep getting a 404 error. I need the instructions to wire in these 7 wires to my dash harness on a 99 civic hatch.

So............how are we, honda-tech members, gonna know that? Not trying to make you look like an idiot or anything but the least you can provide are pictures of the plugs those wires connect to.

Since their website is broken, unless someone with the same harness and year range has some input, you might just have to wait until tomorrow to give them a call. It looks like all of their support PDFs are on their blog, which...doesn't exist anymore, and any searching seems to have been unfruitful so far. I'll keep an eye out though, since I might be dealing with the same thing shortly.

They don't ship any sort of paperwork with the harness?

I have yet to order something from them, so I don't know. Their website doesn't say one way or the other.

Nope. And again, I bought it off a friend. About to go to my car and see if wire colors match up cuz I don't know how old this harness is.

Top plug where I'm holding goes in cabin to driver side.
Bottom 3 are A,B,C ecu plugs, dead junction plug.
Then the long flat plug connects to harness and hard wires into cabin harness for I assume cluster gauge readouts like vss, temp etc.

I about to do this also, swapping all my parts from EG to EK so I need new subharness, but I believe their harness comes with paper instructions and I have them somewhere but they might be OBD1 but from what I remembered each wire has the component labelled directly on the wire.

I can't cache the page, which is weird because it always works.

nope and have fun trying to get ahold of anyone on the phone there, and when you do they will most likely be dicks...

OP, when I put their harness into my EG, 2 of those wires are for extra output and are not used. one controls the fuel pump, one is for the mil lamp. But then again my car was obd1.

dont know how it is changed for obd2, but this will at least give you an idea of what the wires are used for.

So basically you requested them to convert your obd2b harness to obd1.

Damn you're good.

The wire color codes seem to match what the OP needs. Hopefully he can reference the obd2b pinout to get what he needs to run those wires.

Yeah I'm not sure what harness the op has, is a obd2b to obd1? Sure looks like it.
