Previous owner hit something. These cars crush very easily. If it drives straight just leave it alone? Is it a blue CRX HF that you got off ebay?

That blue was not available in the HF model, It's a DX.
OP, I would just drive it and not worry about it. That part is not structural, I would tale a look at the wheels to make sure they are centered in the wheel well. Make sure the suspension arms are not bent or damaged.

I would check the entire suspension though. I got hit in my left front, and have damage in the right rear because that was where it pivoted.

That damage is not necessarily frame damage. As stated above it's mostly superficial. In fact, I have very similar damage on mine on the driver side but it did not impact the frame rail and the only problem on my car is it took some massaging to get the fender and hood and everything to line up. Just because it bugs me and I'm painting my car soon, I actually plan to go to the junkyard and cut-out that area from a donor car to weld into mine.

The only thing I would be concerned about if I were you is whether or not it all aligns in spec. If your driver side wheel is pushed back to toward the door something is definitely bent. Control arm, spindle arm, something bent. Assuming it does NOT align in spec (have you had it aligned?) you may want to grab suspension components for that side from a junkyard.

OR - depending on what is bent, you may be able to get it aligned within spec with an adjustable ball joint, but that just depends.

Wow okay well I am feeling a lot more comfortable and okay with it thanks a lot and I planned on replacing thing like that just wasn't sure what order I should go I guess in the end if it ends up being the last part that fixes it I have a few other new parts which is never a bad thing. Do you have any suggestions on getting the fender on good if you have ? I mean mine isn't bolted anywhere at all just held by a few zip ties I just want it sturdy and straight again, thanks a lot

I haven't had the chance to have it aligned yet either but I plan on it

if your fender is held on by zip ties i would try some bolts and see how badly bent the frame rail i compared to a known good fender.
