Default Suspension Solution

One of my car's past owners saw fit to install some cheapo piece of garbage adjustable lowering springs that are rattling around because nothing really holds the whole thing in place but the weight of the car. I have been looking around for a stock set of springs with no luck thus far. Does anyone know where to purchase a set of stockers? Thanks!

stock springs, if i remember right, you can only get the fronts from honda, that is if its not discontinued. the rears, you should be able to get at any parts store

*** saying that, just go to a pick n pull, would be cheaper.

You are right on the money. Can get the rear set because they are the same as any other Civic, but not the front because they are SI specific. I agree with you on the junk yard route, but trying to find an SI in a junk yard that's never had the suspension messed with is tough.

If there's a decent quality aftermarket solution, I would be willing to look at that too, but I don't need to spend $1500 on Skunk2 or some such. I'm also fine with stock ride height, or maybe slightly lower, but I don't want it slammed.

You can get a very nice set of aftermarket coil overs for around $650-700. I have Koni/GC setup which is amazing and love it for $675… Everyone else will also rave about this suspension setup. You can always find sales on these all over the forums. But if you go stock route just post up on the forums looking for stock springs and then go to auto zone and get a set of stock style struts and that should suite you fine as well..
