90 ls engine b18a
I boguht this engine rom my boy. This engine puts out 142 hp. I have a 95 honda civic ex and it has a sohc vtech. Which puts out 125hp. How could I get the ls engine into a vtech. Would it be a good swap or just sell ls engine.

The 1990 B18a does not put out 142 hp...it only puts out 130 hp. You can do an LS/VTEC conversion which is using a b16, b17, or b18 VTEC head on the LS(b18a) block. Do a search adn there will be a lot of info on the swap.
