Hi all ,

I am new to the forum with a 98' civic 1.8vti aerodeck with 93k on the clock.

I have a slight problem with the way the car is running.

When i am in say 3rd gear , at around 4700rpm at half throttle the car is hesitant/lumpy almost as if I am pressing up and down on the accelerator pedal. As soon as the car is on vtec the problem goes away.

I run nitrous oxide on my car and it does it more when using gas but it stilll does it when not on nitrous aswell.

I have tried resetting my ecu and i thought it had got rid of it but it was still after a few minutes driving and I have also bridged the connector for the CEL and the light stays on solid when the key is in position 2 and then goes away as soon as I remove the bit of wire i used to bridge them. Im not sure if this means anything as i am new with honda's.

Any help would be much appreciated.
