Default What kind of 1/4 mi time would this 1/8mi time be?

Hey, all. I ran the 1/8mi track at Piedmont Dragway last night, but we don't have a 1/4 mi track anywhere very close by. I was woondering if anybody could give me a rough idea of what I would run in a 1/4 mi based on my 1/8 mi time. I know that's not a real great comparison, but if somebody could give me a ballpark figure I sure would appreciate it. TIA

r/t- 1.523
60ft- 2.327
3330- 6.626
1/8- 10.147
mph- 70.27

2nd run:
r/t- 1.243
60ft- 2.288
330- 6.503
1/8- 10.021
mph- 10.18

3rd run:

r/t- .906
60ft- 2.208
330- 6.473
1/8- 10.023
mph- 69.49mph

edit- I can't type

those runs can definitely be low 15's. i ran very similar times at that 1/8 mile and ran 15.2. i can't find the time slip right now but if i remember correctly, your 1/8 mile actually was faster than mine. so i would shoot for low 15's

I ran a 15.3 with a 9.8 1/8th mile time so more like high 15's.

If I could launch better, I'd be in the high 9s in the 1/8. My best to date is a 10.13 (blah), at 71.2 mph. With that mph, I should at least be 9.9 or 9.8, right.

My first time to the track I was running like 10.1@70.x in the 1.8 with a 2.5x 60ft and getting 15.5@90.x mph.

I went to the track on friday, 2.4x 60ft, 10@72.x mph in the 1/8. they weren't running 1/4 that night, but I'm thinking ot was a low 15s run.

Thanks for the input, all.

The car is a 95 Civic EX coupe, D16Z6 w. CAI/H/E and some mild weight stripping- no backseat, spare or jack, & no power steering (pulley started wobbling so I figured "screw it" and removed it all outright )

I think I can break into 9's with my current setup, but just barely. On one of those 10.02 runs I shifted into 3rd just slightly early, and the other I was just a bit late on the same shift (buwwaaa against the rev limiter )

I was feeling pretty outclassed, though; there were only two other imports there: a new Celica GT-S who was clipping off pretty consistent 9.4's, and a Civic LX sedan w. APC graphics who was strutting with his 10.7-10.8's ("My clutch was slipping, yO! & You Got V-tEk, yO! ) The rest of the croud was all domestic muscle, and it seems every other car had a full cage, slicks & skinnys, and was running under 7.49. Most of em were pretty cool to talk to, though.

Well, thanks again for the input- I guess this is my cue to do some more mods & get my high 15's down to low 15's and so on
