I have a 1997 Honda accord 4 door sedan with a f22b2 engine non-vtec. The ecu is throwing the engine light for the vtec system. I suspect the motor has been swapped or from what I understand possibly just the head. My question. Can I put a non-vtec ecu in this vehicle from the same year model car to replace the vtec one? If so which one do I need? If I cant swap do I just have to live with the engine light and the p 1253 code?
