Default New B16A2 Turbo Build

Looking to get some feedback on my WIP parts list for a 300whp B16A2 build I'm starting

Dual Valve Springs/Retainers
GSR Camshafts
Adjustable Cam Gears
Pistons/Rods
Ram Horn Turbo Manifold w. 44mm wastegate
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
Turbo (Holset HX35?)
Custom fab stuff (3 inch turbo back exhaust, IC w. 2.5 inch piping etc)

I kind of get lost with the next few things. I know I need to upgrade the axles to take the abuse, and most of the builds I've read include an LSD. Not sure where to go for any of that stuff. Also haven't found a whole lot on cooling upgrades and how much is needed for a build like this. Any advice I can get at this point is great, as it'll be awhile before I've gone through all the info on the site to find what I need.

For your power goals, the valvetrain work and the piston/rod build is unnecessary. Its good peace of mind, but overkill for that power level. Stock axles will take the abuse as long as you pre-load correctly if/when you take it to the track. As for the LSD, look at MFactory or Quaife. Those are the two i'd recommend.

Your turbo choice is too big IMO - i would go with a T3/T04e 50 trim .63 ar for now. Its something generic and inexpensive that can be easily upgraded in the future. As for the manifold, a ramhorn will work fine, but consider a shorty ramhorn instead if this is a street/strip car. It will have a broader powerband - also 38mm should suffice (no need for a 44mm)

Cooling isn't terribly complicated - I used to run a OEM EM1 radiator (half length, dual core) with a $50 slimline fan in my 99 GSR @ ~400whp and it had no issues. Any decent dual-core radiator should be fine.

Lastly, the clutch ... I would opt for at least the Exedy Stage 2 (3 puck cerametallic) for that power level. Chances are you'll want more power soon and would otherwise have to upgrade the clutch. Even something as 'hard core' as a Competition Clutch Stage 3/4 would be alright as a daily clutch.

The exedy stage 1 clutch wouldn't support that kind of torque increase for any substantial amount of time.

Clutches are rated by the amount of torque they can withstand, not horsepower.

What injectors are you planning? This is very similar to what I will be running set up wise.

Was probably going to wind up running 550cc injectors. Any smaller and I was sure that I wouldn't have enough fuel. Not sure on branding for those either (totally new to tuning Hondas)

Mostly related but would a walbro 255 be sufficient for this build?

Yes, a Walbro 255lph will be fine, as will the 550s.
