Default lsv with po6 on b16 tune. need help

hey guys i am pretty new to this site, but here is my question. please no negative comments i am kind of a noob to this.

ok, i have a em1 and i swapped out my b16 and out a lsv with type r replica pistons, block was decked and honed, skunk 2 mani, type r headers and 2.5inch straight pipe, but the only bad part is i am running it on my old b16 tune.

so my question is do you guys think that my old b16 tune is holding my car back because i raced a b16 and we were neck and neck and neck. plz reply fast. thank you

Yes it is "holding you back"

You need to at least get a street tune with a wide band. I bet that thing is running way lean which also hurts the motor. Fork out some cash to get it done right.

i would venture to say you like damaging engines.

i dont frequent this forum as much as i used too, but i can see much has changed. you need a tune, a tune(if its even a tune) for a almost quarter of a liter larger engine will not function correctly. save yourself some headache and rebuild cost and have someone qualified tune it and you will see a difference if you havent already damaged it as it is.
