J32 tip tronic Swap mount
After not seeing any decent looking tip tronic mounts for the automatics, I decided to fab one myself. Hope this helps out any of the automatic guys.
Started with the Hasport ekj2 mounts, and i used the stock ek crossmember ( i had to mod the rear mount as well) If you have eg crossmember you wont have too.
The J32 tip tronic mount I made uses 5 attachment points to the transmission.
It is mostly 3/16" thick steel used.
I also built a front mount as well.
Powder coat and fab work was done by myself. Pics below.

That came out sick. Looks like there would be a lot of leverage on the driver side mount. However, you have the motor braced really well. It's not going to rock anywhere with the front "dog bone" mount.
Well with an automatic trans theres limited options on mounting, stock 6 speed has 2 attachment points, my auto has 5 attachment points. Should be plenty strong. just with the trans mount and the passenger side mount it barely moved at all. So with attachment points on all corners now, should stay in place.
