not your typical accord rough idle. help?
Hey all, just joined this forum to see what i can learn and spread what i do end up learning. so, i picked up a 92 accord wagon(hell yeah wagon) with 60k miles on the motor which is a swap(its still an f22a1, previous owned had it professinally swapped) and 180k on the body. so i have a rough idle. classic, but not so classic because mine sits hapily where it is and never surges. the car also runs very well with no hesitation. bit of a project car anyway but heres what ive done thats related to rough idle.
-change every single vaccum line(eliminate leak possibility)
-4 new motor mounts
-clean egr ports and valve, clean iacv, adjust FITV
-new pcv valve(and seafoam through pcv valve and gas of course)
-tune up, with new destributor, new spark plugs, and new wires(also had to do valve cover gasket)
-adjusted the idle so the cars tachometer reads 700 flat idling in R or D, and about 800 in park
any guidance as to what to do next other than a fuel system(injectors) cleaning? very lost. all help and knowledge appreciated greatly!
good day all
