98 Accord Clutch Jitter
My 98 4 cyl 4 dr has 335,000 proud km on it, but just started a bit of clunky jitter on downshifting. I've always double clutched anyway, since I got the car at 247,000, but after it started shuddering, I tried downshifting without double clutching and it won't. Can anyone tell me whether this is the clutch or the transmission? Its been a great car, my son had it before me! and I have replaced wheel berarings and an exhaust system recently. I really hope I can either nurse it to 400kkm or can turn it over to someone who'd like to hot rod it.

If you have never been able to shift without double clutching then there may be other issues with the transmission, worn syncros, or possibly a clutch that does not fully release.
Any recent work done?
When was the last time you bled the clutch MC/SC?
Is the linkage to the clutch properly adjusted/with-in spec?

My 98 Honda Accord recently had both master and slave clutch cylinders replaced, and transmission fluid was also bled.
Immediately after this, my car shudders when I apply the brakes.
Is there a connection, and if not, what is the problem?
