I have a 96 integra with a b20b4 swap and b16 trans. Pretty much all stock. New to this motor. What would be the first upgrade you guys would do to it?

 

Get a chipped ECU and get it professionally tuned. B20s see large mid to.top end gains with a good tune. Also make sure you have the basic bolt ons, CAI, good air filter, nice header (plm toda or rfm replica).

 

What ecu do you suggest?

 

Any chipped obd1 ecu will work. P06, P28, P75, etc

 

i think the b20b's came with the small intake cam. swapping it over to a p75 b18b or b20z cam will help the power not fall on its *** at 5500-6000 rpm. i wouldnt put much cam in it with the stock pistons. ive been doing a lot of reading again lately and i feel like ive read a lot of threads with people dissapointed in the power and especially tq with their cammed stock compression b20s.

they will trade a good 10 - 15 ftlbs throughout the midrange for maybe 10 hp way up like 7000 rpm.
