I know about the DX, LX, and EX models

But while shopping for replacement floor mats I kept coming across references to a FX model. never heard of it.

The listings are always associated with 98-02 model years.

I contacted one company and they couldn't explain why they had the listing.

I do know DX, LX and EX models all use the same part number in the Honda parts catalog.

 

Look on the Majestic Honda web site. It lists all the models Honda made and it is also the factory catalog.

 

Doesn't exist. Here's a list of all the Accord trims I'm aware of in the US.

There also is a "UL" designation which is for the Ultra Low Emissions, but it wasn't really a 'trim'

 

I believe majestic (like most of the US parts sites) limit trim levels to US delivered variants. For example they list Del Sol S and SI but not ESi, VXi or VGi
(euro and JDM)

Could the FX be a non-US model?

Given that 'FX' doesn't appear once on the Wiki, and they have pretty much all the other trims - like SiR, Euro-R, Type-R, etc. I'm going to say it's either a typo, or potentially referring to the interior color code - which I do know a 'Type F' exists and is the Light Taupe color in the '94-97 Accords.

 

They probably meant EX, the E and the F are next to each other on the keyboard.

 

Have never heard of FX before. Btw, my title shows Accord 2001 UEX, but actually it is an EX V6 version. Are UEX and EX the same? Or is it a typo on my title? Does it pull up when DMV enter my VIN, or they typed it manually in there?
