Just curious as to how much your DC5s are weighing in after some weight reduction? I think the weight Honda published for the S was 2764 or so.

I was wondering what it could be brought down to after lighter rims, tires, exhaust, getting rid of that stupid subwoofer, etc.

 

dude, that sub weighs like 5 lbs. i know people who remove them prior to autox. blah! I want more weight over the rear of the car...and let's be honest...5 lbs. aint gonna do a whole heck of a lot on its own. To get this car light, get jdm control arms, aluminum coilovers, titanium exhaust, cp-035s, toyo t1-s tires, and take out all seats but the driver's.

 

Well my DC5R weighs 1160kg stock. But I have since changed to a BC Spec III exhaust and have also installed an SRI w/ cold air duct. I have removed the rear seats, spare tire, jack etc but not the side panels. Car feels a whole lot quicker on the straights but the *** is more flimsy around the corners. Another thing is that I have harder spring rates at the back (8.4 kg/mm) so I guess that contributes a little.

But I say to weight reduction esp with respect to the DC5-S
