Honda Del Sol Tires
I'm buying new tires online for the first time. According to my VIN, my car is 1997 Del Sol Si and the tires are supposed to be 185/60-14. However, I looked at the tires that are already on my car and they are all 195/60-14. Now I don't know which one to follow. Should I get 185/60-14 or 195/60-14? I bought the car used. My concern is that the wheels may not be original. They look like stock but they could have come from a VTEC trim. Or maybe the mechanics have been installing the wrong tires all along.
Doesn't matter if the wheel is original or not. It's a 14" wheel so 185-60-14 will fit. It's possible the previous owner bought the wheels from a del Sol VTEC or the last tire technician was going off the del Sol VTEC tire size.

Look inside your driver side door jamb. There will be a sticker with some info...including tire size info.
There's a .46" diameter difference between 195/60 and 185/60. The 195's are a bit taller and 3/8" (10mm) wider.
