Default Ultra street manifold install

Does anyone have the Skunk2 Ultra street installed?

What intake tube are you using?
OEM ITR arm?
Samco silicone?
Cold-air?
Short-ram?
Old sock zip-tied to TB?

My Chassis is a 2000 civic.

Thanks.

Requires a custom intake.

Generic short-ram should connect just fine. Get the couplers to route it how you want and fit the TB. They make all different sizes and angles.

Here is my basic setup, nothing special there. Please excuse my "messy bay", but I really don't give two ***** about being hello kitty flush. Just your typical cheap 3" cold-air arm for a '88 - '91 Civic IIRC, some couplers, and a Blox Velocity stack. I would have went BPI but I had this NIB from a previous build. Given, this isn't an EK, but the engine bays are extremely similar and I am using EK mounts haha. My intake temps are about the same as my race car that has induction through headlight hole.

Here is one Ultra Street installed to the EK4 (2000). I simply made DIY 3" and later 3.5" CAI (with velocitystack and K&N), couple 30° and 45° silicone elbow and bit of aluminiun pipe.

3"

3.5"

Thanks for the pics guys, much appreciated.
Gonna hunt CL for a 3" tube or pony up the extra $5 to buy it new from the 'bay.

Using a ITR 3'' Injen CAI no real modifications just extended the bracket.

Thanks, it's result of all trial and error . Engine is builded B18C6 and final peaknumbers ~190hp@8400rpm and ~125lb/ft@6900rpm at wheels. Dyno maybe reads low, but it is accurate. Intakes effect was marginal, but everyting count.

Carsten1978, sorry, I don't have just manifolds compared. Ultra Street was slightly better through the powerband than (little bit) ported P73.

This thread just resurfaced and is somewhat relevant to this topic; it's about velocity stack and filter dynos:

Haha, jyang is the best in that thread, Engrish and all.

So my hunt for a 4" air intake tube begins. Gonna have to start checking out the diesel intakes.
