I've recently acquired a 1999 Acura EL. I understand this to be a Canada only vehicle here in North America; somewhat of an anomaly south of the border from us. I hope to get smart on this car in this forum. Cheers!
Welcome! You're correct, the 1.7 EL, and later CSX were Canada-Only models from Acura not sold in the US. Not sure why they decided to do that, but in my opinion Honda lost their mojo in the mid 90s. Nice to see another Canadian on here, so again welcome!

I hear Vancouver is absolutely stunning. At least from what I see in all the ads.
Much better this the fat sweaty armpit of Houston Texas.

Thanks for the welcoming replies, gang.
The city of Vancouver is most certainly stunning. However, I reside in the city of "Victoria" which is on "Vancouver Island"; a 1 3/4 hour ferry ride and 20 minute drive from Vancouver. I hope that wasn't too confusing for you North American main landers!
Cheers.

Finally got a couple of pics of the Acura EL. Been perusing and doing searches mostly in the Honda Civic/Del Sol Forums and posting mostly here;

I deem the HC/DS Forum to be most compatible with anything to do with my car. Anywho..................

At this point it's all stock except for the tire/wheels. That'll change a lil' bit on Wednesday. A daily driver it will remain and with a slush-o-matic tranny...well.....it's pretty much gonna be an easy going cruiser type of car. No racing for this lil' beasty!
Cheers.
