Default Need help! 96 Civic DX!!

Okay so were to do I begin.

A while back I bought a 96 civic hatch.
Currently has 182k on the dash, but the pervious owner says it had 140k.
I am having the intentions of just using this as a to - and - from work car,
I've done a tune up when I got it.
-oil
-valves
-coolant
-tranny fluid
-Coolant flush
-t-stat

But here recently I've noticed I'll be loosing my coolant,
I'll top it off the night before come out the next morning to see my coolant recovery bottle is empty, but I can see coolant in my radiator.
Also JUST recently
Started to have a funny smell when accelerating, no smoke just a odd smell, not burning oil, something else..
Idk
Also this morning I have found out that I have a new leak, looks like coolant is leaking somewhere but it's leaking with what looks like tranny fluid ?
Like I said just started, but idk where it would be leaking from or maybe what the issue is.

Again symptoms are
-Funny smell when accelerating
(No smoke)
-No coolant in recovery tank when it's sitting overnight.
-Small drip from what looks to be on the tranny.

So if anyone has any ideas please let me know!!
Thanks!
Ps I'd like to keep it running as it's my only running car currently.

Catch the fluid as it drips off of the Transmission, chances are its antifreeze... follow it back, you are likely losing some of it around the T-stat area, there are quite a few hoses that are in that area that contain coolant.

Did you do a compression/leakdown test yet to see if you are burning coolant due to a head being wonky or a bad head gasket?

I have not, is there a easy way to do it yourself?
And I can see the fluid, it looks to be antifreeze

Sounds like a bad head gasket, but can be many other things. Like was previously suggested, check all the hoses and connections and do a leak down test. Ive seen leakdown gauges at harbour freight for like $20.

Also is this an auto or manual? does the civic have radiator coolant lines from tranny in autos? If it does, that could be another place to check, at the radiator leaking into the lines. My reasoning behind that is you said it appears to have coolant mixed with tranny fluid coming from the tranny.

It's a 5 spd manual,
Also when I get on my lunch break I will take some photos.

And yes I said that's what it APEARS to be mixed with, but I'm not 100%.

Pressure test your coolant system, could be anything including a cracked radiator.

If it were a cracked radiator wouldn't I have a puddle under my car? Or some evidence of where my coolant is going?
I don't have any puddles, just a small drip which I noticed today, on my tranny.

Not necessarily if its cracked it could just drip depending on the severity of the crack.
