almost 2 years ago i pieced together a small turbo kit for my d16. this past winter/summer i changed a lot of things. major things being:
ramhorn -> sheepey topmount
ebay 57 trim -> garrett 57 trim and bigger compressor housing
stock z6 intake -> edelbrock
ebay intercooler -> goautoworks 600hp intercooler
stock cam -> delta 272-2 regrind

i was able to get the engine running on the old tune but had to keep giving it a little bit of throttle. where should i begin, or can anyone help me with getting it idling. im only checking for leaks, any problems then winching it onto a tow dolly to be taken to my tune (have to schedule still) i wont be driving the vehicle at all.

any help is appreciated.

If you have a wideband, watch it and start playing with the low cam maps and different things under the fuel compensation tab like the open loop coolant temp compensation...or however its worded on there. Make small changes to see what makes an improvement

 

Nothing whatsoever about that setup is going to be the same as your old tune, especially idle.

Add 5% IACV duty cycle or back out the idle screw, and raise your idle target to 1,000 RPM. Make sure your TPS is properly calibrated and you're not in closed loop.

Add 4* to the top left quadrant of the low cam ignition table, and about 5% fuel. Then adjust cells as needed to maintain a 13.8:1 AFR.

If you still can't idle, you might have a vacuum leak (likely after manifold upgrade) or an injector/fuel issue, or your cam timing might be off a tooth. Some cams, for no conceivable reason, run better with a lean idle, so try that just in case.

If all else fails, upload a datalog on the Hondata forums and post the link.
