I am looking for help on figuring out if noise is normal? Just bought car for my son and we have done all belts , motor mounts and spark plug tube seals. Now that we wanted to test power on it, this noise happens when we hit the gas pedal hard till the transmission shifts on it, since it is automatic. It sounds like quick metal expansion. Any help please.

 

You need to be more specific and detailed

 

O.k. when rpm gets to about 3k there is a noise that comes up and as the trans shifts and rpms drop, it goes away till the rpms get high again, but only if I do quick acceleration.

 

Almost sounds to me like cat converter sheild.

Well, checked all heat shields are intact. Did find a loose bolt at manifold, tighten it and noise is not as loud, but still there. I am starting to think is normal, will have to test another accord. Thanks for the help.
