2000 Civic Si no spark, coil/ICM tested good
Struggling to figure out this no start.
2000 Civic Si (SiR, since I'm in Canada)
- Cranks but won't start
- Has fuel, no spark at any of the plugs
- Timing belt not broken & timing marks line up
- Checked all grounds, G101 thermostat ground is tight
- Main relay fine, fuel pump primes, CEL turns off after 2 sec & no codes
- Checked all fuses, battery fully charged
- Tested +12V at Blk/Yel wire to distributor
- Primary coil resistance 0.7 ohms, secondary around 14K ohms
- ICM tested fine
- Checked plug wires in correct order on distributor
- Cap & rotor replaced with newer ones, plugs were wet with fuel & replaced with new ones
The only other ideas I can come up with are bad ECU or crank sensor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I had this happen after I changed my ignition control module
Somehow I got the wires mixed up.
My test light showed power to the positive size AND the negative side of the coil
I corrected the connections and it fired right up

Pulled the link directly from the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum Under Diagnostic's, How to diagnose your no spark problem:

But buy the sounds of all your tests, do you have a spare ECU to throw in to test?

I might have a spare ECU, if I find it I'll try it.
I checked & all 4 wires were reconnected to the ICM correctly.
