I can't take these numbers to the bank yet correct?
Reason being I am debating staying in STS or getting a quaife, some race rubber and some 13x8's (yet again) along with a few other goodies and moving to FSP.

Things will probably get shaken up a bit in the top stock classes since these number don't include the recent re-class of the Boxter S, etc.
As for STS and FSP, I see NO REASON why the numbers would change between now and next year.

A quote from sccaforums:
So, AFAIK, these numbers should remain unchanged...
The 2003 numbers do reflect all class additions and changes made the December Fastrack
now if I could only get both my local groups on the same page about what exactly STX is...
IMHO, STS PAX needs a bump up. That PAX was written back when everyone was running on decent street-tires. NOT the uber-street tires like the Azenis and KD that made the class SO much faster when everyone jumped to them.

You can say that the STS PAX did get bumped up... Consider the fact that soooo amny other classes got easier and yet STS remained the same. Same principle, yes? Especially BS and FS, I was surprised they dropped at all.

well....it looks like i'll be staying in STS....at nats this year they were faster than GS and at my last local event we had a PAX challenge, and an STX Olds Calais ran a marginally quicker RAW time than a DS ITR....
uber-tires or not.....that's an accomplishment

STS/STX has the potential to run faster than GS/DS in events that have a lot of straightaways and transitions. On courses that are run on concrete and have a lot of demaning turns, the GS/DS cars will usually be faster than the ST classes.
It's weird how it works, but on asphault and certain courses, ST cars can just fly on them comapred to stock. Usually though, they will always loose to SP when good SP drivers/cars show up.
It all makes sense if you think about it.
And I still think a 92-95 Civic DX can run away with FSP. I've been waiting for a good driver and prepped car to show up and lay the smack down. Then, it will probably get booted to DSP because the VW guys will once again start to whine.

They are used to figure out overall who won. So you can compare a 1989 CRX DX and a 2000 Dodge Viper. Basically showing who's the better driver no matter what car and mods you have.

He, but what happened to him this year? He coned it away on the first day but even without the penalty he was nowhere near the top. Granted, i dunno the whole story behind his performance, just looking at the results...
Almost any half-decent car in any class can win. It's all in the driver and how much money/time is thrown at the car...
