Actually its possible and has been done, some modification required. If you try Searching, you'll find many topics.

 

i think u need to cut the ends off or cut it in the middle like the amount thats off..something like that

 

WHy don't you just buy the replica one. This way you don't have to do any mods to it. It cost the same price and it looks just the same. If you cut up a real CTR lip go right ahead but If I was you I would just buy the replica one, and save me the headaches.

abs plastic will not fit....you just cant cut/bend it to fit...sorry

 

yes, you can... get a little propane torch and heat up the ends to rebend them so they arnt too long. dont get all getto and cut them. then use some 3m double sided tape on the sides and it will look fine. do not try to remold the sides to fit, as it will look like poop.

 

I did it one mine!!! actually 99 SI lip!

everything else will fit in its just a lil too long on the sides.

cut the ends off.....

use strong 3m tape or rivets. looks gravy

 

just got the 00 SI lip and cant seem to get the double sided tape to hold.. anyone got any ideas?
