Hey guys. I've been hearing these weird clunk sounds for about 3 months coming from the front driver side of the car. It doesn't happen at specific times or anything. I can be driving straight down a road, with no bumps or holes, going about 20 mph or even 70 mph and they still sound. I've looked under the car to see if I can find any loose parts or anything that is clanking together but i cant seem to find anything. If anybody has had this problem and resolved it, that would be a great help. Or if you have any ideas on where i can take it (Like the Honda, or any shop that can lift it) so they can check it out, that would also help a lot. Thanks

 

Does it change in sound when you turn at all? Might be the axle joint(s).

 

Not really but Ill keep that in mind. I'm getting my car checked out soon by a good friend of mine. Thanks for Your Help

 

Is it a clunk, or a ticking? I had a 94 accord EX that would drive me nuts with a clunk in the same area your describing. I changed tie-rods, wheel bearing was fine, new axle, new upper control arm and ball joint, new radius rod w/bushings, I couldn't figure it out! I ended up selling the car but even after was thinking about it and remembered I had installed some cheapo Monroe Economatic front struts and its not out of the question that the one on the driver side didnt fail prematurely. Just all things to consider, best of luck to ya!
