It seems you cannot adjust the illumination/brightness of the top two bulbs of the CTR and EK4 SiR guage clusters? Is that correct?

 

There is no dimmer switch on JDM Civics, so no.

If this is bothersome to you, there is an outside chance you can swap the PCBs on the back.

 

Any of them? American market only ?

+ NZ and Australia, too.

+ Some other smaller markets, probably.

Not Europe, though.

Useless feature, IMO.

 

hmm little bit i agreed with you but There's a full DIY article on bbsquad.org posted up by dancar420 on how to install it. Not sure if you have to be a member on that site to view it or not. hope its not true but its my views

 

Oh really? You would think being JDM, it would have all the options. I have no clue on Electronics. I was just making sure it wasn't just my cluster not dimming.

 

Does your car have the capabilities to dim? If so you can mod it.

 

Yes, my car does. That is why I was asking. My old cluster can dim, so I was wondering why my JDM one doesn't.

 

I don't think that the JDM version came with a dimmer switch.... Correct me if i'm wrong..
