Default 1995 Honda accord lx speaker problems

I just bought a 1995 Honda accord lx, when I got it only the front right speaker worked. And I just got a new stereo hooked up and when we plugged it in only the front LEFT speaker worked?! So we wiggled some wires and they both worked at the same time but one I put my center counsel back together only the front right one works again?! So do I have to rewire everything to fix my problem? Also any time I plug my cigarette lighter in my radio shuts off?

So I have to rewire everything? Not just my radio?

Do you know how to use a Volt-Ohm meter? What you first need to check is the harness behind attaches to the radio, make sure it isnt damaged...and look in the female plug, to make sure all of the pins are pulled in the same depth, and none are loose. Then figure out which wires go to the front speakers(Most speaker wiring color codes are common amounst all radios). Now use your VOM and check in between the pins in the female harness, to the connectors that attach to teh speakers. You should show .1 or really close. Jiggle the wires and open and close the door, while checking it..to see if the reading on the meter changes. If one wire shows open (O/L), then that wire has a break in it somewhere.
