FL 520hp Turbo Honda S2000
520hp Turbo Honda S2000
Clean title
2000 S2000
140k miles on chassis
'07 AP2 motor (stock internal motor - roughly 50k miles)
Garage kept since the day I bought it
$12,000obo
Ft Lauderdale, FL
I set this car up to drive as comfortable and stock like as possible (A/C works). I didn't want to sacrifice the power for comfort. The car is as quiet as a stock s2000 due to the stock exhaust. It makes about 420hp with stock exhaust, open up the cutout and it makes 520hp. Tune drivability is clean and feels like a stock car. No hiccups.
Really fast and fun to drive. Nothing feels better than a turbo car!!

I built/assembled the turbo set up. All the kinks have been worked out, this car is reliable, just fuel up and drive. I've been building and working on Honda's for 15+ years. Known in the street/race scene as "KillerB".

i call bull **** that going from exhaust to open downpipe you add a 100 hp.
unless when you open the cut out you add boost
come on man get real killer B

1) it's not terribly important how much it makes with the cutout closed. You flip a switch and it opens up.
2) The stock exhaust is designed well but it's not designed for forced induction therefore it's very restrictive for this application.
Pay for dyno time and we can put it to the test ;-)
At the end of the day the car feels AWESOME with the cutout closed. It's also as quiet as a stock s2000.
Your on here trying to bull ****.
So your saying that with a flip of the e cut out switch it will make a 100 more hp there is no way that is true and if it is that is very unhealthy for the tune on the car. For it to be making 20% difference in hp on the same map with the same boost. But you already knew that and your trying to sell this car to a kid that doesn't know any better.

The cutout open or closed makes no difference on the "health" of the tune of the map. The only difference is that the setup as a whole is not operating as efficient because of the restricted exhaust flow.
What do you think the purpose of a cutout is for???
The cutout gives you the best of both worlds: when it's closed the exhaust is as quiet as a stock s2000. Open the cutout and you'll get the benefit of an unrestricted exhaust allowing the setup to run efficient and make more power.
I thought this out when I put the car together. I wanted to be able to cruise around town or to the beach in comfort and without the noise of a loud exhaust.
Car has been tuned and running for 3yrs with zero problems. The car functions and drives perfect with the cutout open or closed.
This is common sense to anyone that knows anything on making power.
If someone wants to buy the car, I am willing to dyno the car before they buy it. It's that simple.
Newer Corvettes have an OEM cutout/exhaust system, they call it variable exhaust valve.
Pretty cool feature...
Turbo s2000 still for sale..
