Hello peps i just picked up an 06 RSX TYPE S anx im gonna be doing the Brembo setup on it full knuckles swap so i looked and looked but no one can say if the 05=06 type s wheels will fit the Dc5r brembo and knuckle set everybody seems to be guessing so if anyone that has done please let me know if wheels will clear calipers without slacers and please only people that has done it only reply im not gonna trust some guy that has a eg or some crap

 

there is a reason the dc5 type-r has a different offset to the wheels, its to keep the center line of the tire in line with where its supose to be on the car...I could go on for pages on slipangles....but most people do not give a rats butt about that....you want the car to handle like a type-r, get the right offset wheels

 

Ok all im asking will 05=06 rsx type s wheels clear the dc5r type r brembo calipers with the DC5R spindle set up and please only people that have tryed it respond

 

They should fit over the brakes( thats why the rotor hats look so different) but you will have fender clearance problems....and because you are killing the scrub radius, your brakeing and cornering will be reduced so whats the point? The reason people are not replying is its kinda a silly question. Your buying and installing a suspension and braking set up and wanting to put the wrong offset wheels on it....offset matters.
