Default ITR sway bars

how big are the ITR sway bars - front and rear? or is there only a rear? i was thinking of getting the front and rear sway bar package from suspension techniques but im not sure which will perform better. anyone know how big the bars are from ST? which would perform better?

Yes they have front and rear sway bars. On the rear the sway bars are 22 mm in the US and 23 mm in Japan.

If you get the ITR rear you should get the Beaks subframe kit just in case.

The ST rear one is pretty good too with the built in tie.

Isn't the front a 24mm bar, like the GSR.

I am confused, if I have ITR rear LCA on my EG, do I still need the Beaks kit to install the ITR sway bar?

ITR/GSR front - 24mm

ITR, USA rear - 22mm
ITR, JDM rear - 23mm

Beaks kit is recommended on the rear.

these are going on a 96 EK hatch so what is needed besides the front and rear sway bars and beaks kit for the rear? is there a reinforcement for the front?

Stock, a 96 DX has no front and no rear sway, so you don't wanna add a beefy rear without something for the front.

I recommend:
SI 26mm Front sway (you need dampening forks, and LCAs)
ITR 22mm Rear sway w/ beaks kit

You can also use a 21 mm (i think that's the size) EX front sway (you need LCAs I think)

You are close man, eg front sway bar is 21mm, ek front sway bar is 22mm and yes he will need the front lca, actually half but let's not get into that.

yea, will the EK quick swap work on my 96 EK hatch? they say its only for the 99-00 Si. that would make life easier. it has all the parts i need for just the rear right? and its cheap. i added up all the parts i would need if i just bought the beaks kit and bought the rest from acura, the total was 220.14 without shipping. thats just the rear! so 160 sounds mighty nice!

OT: the suspension techniques front and rear sway bars are front: 1" and rear: 3/4". how big are those in mm? just for comparison against the type-r bars. so, does everyone recommend the type-r bars? also, will a rear lower tie bar work with the beaks type-r rear setup?

It says for 99-00 Si because it utilizes 99-00 Si endlinks. It will work on your 96 hatch, all you have to do it buy that quick swap kit (the $160) and also buy 99-00 Si Endlinks.
