Default Seafoaming my f22

A little background of my 1995 accord ex.... I bought it with very low mileage. Just rolled over 68k today. It had one owner and the car sat for most of it's life. It's now my daily as my wrx sits in my driveway. Well my accord seems to idle a little low and actually it knocks a little bit. I know some of these cars have some piston slap at cold idle but this is def a knock. A honda tech I work with said it might be because of some carbon build up. The average mileage was about 2k a year put on this car. Give or take of course. I'm sure there has got to be some build up. And a knocking motor seems a little strange especially if it wasn't driven that much. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car actually runs pretty good but the knocking is worrying me. Anything I can do to make it better. Oh yea I have already done a water pump, timing belt, and all the seals. Just because I didn't know what condition they were in. Turns out all the maintenance was done. Go figure.

Start with adjusting the valves. You can seafoam the engine just before doing an oil change. Just idle it for about 15 minutes and drain it all out. Try looking to see if the iacv outer filter is clogged.

I replaced the valve cover gasket and while it was off I actually measured the valves and they were in spec so I didn't touch them. I'll do some more research on some other maintenance things I can try. Thank you

You can compression test the engine to see if there is anything wrong with it.

well i seafoamed my car this morning. almost no smoke came out. i poured it into the vacuum hose that connects to the brake booster. it bogged down like it was taking it all in but when i started it after being off for 20 minutes, there was almost no smoke coming out. like i dont think it did anything. did i not use enough? you would think after sitting for so long and hardly being driven there would be some build up. i also cant wrap my head around why this car would be knocking. an old man drove it before me and that was 2000 miles a year. need to do a compression test i guess and see whats up.
