88 CRX cluster problems....which route?
So im new to this forum soooo yo to everyone! I bought my 88 crx dx (Rexxy) about 15 months ago. I had a head gasket blow about 6 months ago so I put her in the shop and had the head resurfaced, 10 recut valves, 3 new valves, hot tanked, and some micropolishing. In the past six months I moved from the Fresno CA area to Klamath Falls OR. Mechanic lagged.... but there was no rush... so I was finally able to go get her on the 6th and when I did she came back with 2 new problems.
#1. New cluster, has lower miles but the temperature gauge doesn't work. Plus I dont trust the gas gause and the rpm gauge is jumpy at low speeds. Along with the visual problem since the cluster shell got lost at his shop.
#2. Belt sqweaks when I start or shift hard... not that big of a deal I guess. I assume its pry the tensioner?
So I figure I've got a couple choices and I really want help choosing which route to go. Should I do a swap to a s2000 cluster or a teggy cluster? Buy a cover and ad some round cheesy autozone gauges? Or should I go the Tunerview LCD route?
Any knowledge helps because this will happen SOONER then later. Thank you. May the crx live on!

Buy a new known working cluster that matches the year of your car. A working oem cluster is all you need. Unless you've absolutely fixed every other part that needs fixing on your crx, I think a cluster swap is a waste of time and money.
