Today my driver side rear window stopped working. These are power windows. I pulled the switch on my driver side door to pull the window up and heard a crunching sound, and then the window stopped moving. The apparatus that moves the window sounds like power is still running to it but it will not move the window at all. My first impression is that something connecting the machinery to the very bottom of the window may have cracked off or even part of the window.

Anyone have any experience in fixing this? Is it something I can do myself (if a new window is not needed)?
