about to order a pre painted front bumper for my Chrysler 300 off ebay.
I purchased a pre painted rear bumper last month and it was perfect paint match and fitment.
My Q:
Does the clearcoat need to be wet sanded between coats ?
I ask this because since the bumper will be for the front id like to have a few extra layers because of bugs & stones. but I also like to wet sand and buff it but want to make sure i have enough material that i don't burn through the paint.

You can either let it dry and sand it, or wait the amount of time given by the paint manufacturer between coats (flash time).
So no, it does not have to be sanded if you follow the instructions.
