Well I have been in the wood work on honda tech for years noe and finally got som pics of my pride and joy and its death on disc. If you want to be sick I apoligize. Just wanted to share with everyone else what I did.







Mods include:
Car was COMPLETLY stripped and painted inside and out (no suspension, glass, nuts, bolts, gass tank, gas lines, brake lines, or anything left on the car. If it could come off it did. The car was straitened, smoothed, painted and cleared top to bottom. the entire bottom of the car was pressured washed and re undercoated.
every gasket was cleaned completly or it was replaced. every window moulding was replaced. carpet, center console, floor mats, armrest was brand new.
I stripped a 99 (new at the time) with 4000 miles on it integra of every nut and bolt I could get off it and replaced mine with them. This includes suspension, engine, and interior.

Engine-- Brand new type r head and intake manifold.
jdm 4 into 1 header
5 zigen fireball exhaust
type r intake with modified cold air tube
gsr block w/type r pistons and arp rod bolts
gsr throttle body
gsr injectors
full gsr suspension (powder coated black)
calipers powdercoated silver and rebuilt
gsr sway bars
neuspeed strut bars
energy suspension bushings (all of them)
neuspeed coilovers
2000 si wheels and tires

First run down the track yeilded a 13.8 @102
slowest ever 14.0@ 101
ran it on the track a total of 6 runs

This car started my JDM fever and it has not stopped
jdm mods were headlights only but that hooked me I continued to buy as many jdm parts as i could but never got a chance to put them on because this happened

Went around a corner, made a wrong judgment with the brakes and steering at same time. rear tire broke loose and i slid sideways. started to spin completely around but i corrected it and when it cought traction i went sideways into oncoming traffic. Landed the front end of a montero in my pass seat. so far in my car my elbow actually went through his headlight.

is that you next to the car? You don't look too bad, physically that is. That must suck worse than anything. Can you salvage anything off the car? That trully sucks.

dude i feel you too. i lost my hybrid coupe kinda of like the same way, only it was a smaller isuzu SUV. just be glad your okay.

 

Yeah that is me. not too bad in the pic but I ended up with a spiral (like a corkscrew) fracture in my left arm. It took 8 staples to close my right elbow where it went through the headlight. huge bruse and contusion on right hip from center console/door/montero. alot of cuts, scrapes and bruises. the pass side mirror cam in and broke my nose. I was knocked out and bayflighted. I got to ride in a helicoptor though. I made it out ok only 2 days in the hospital and 3 months out of work. I am a stereo installer and could not use my arm. No matter how much u hate work this is not the way to get time off I am already working on new projects I currently have another eg and a dc. I am getting ready to get my girl a dc and teach her how to ride my zx6r. but she is totally in to the car thing and wants to build her own with my help. Yes i was able to salvage the motor, suspension, wheels, dr seat, dr door panel and rear panel. so it was not a total loss. I also came away with my life!

At least you're alright, the car can be rebuilt. I know this is the standard thing to say but its true. Good luck with your next project.
