Please Google skunk 2 markings. The original hand-edged ones vs, their stamp models. You can key word Honda-Tech with your Google search
Used sets are always risky. There is no 100% way to know other than to get them new. Give them a call. They might be able to tell you something about the markings on your cams, and/or make you a deal on a new set.
One thing I can say for certain is they do not, nor have in the past used steel cores, so skunk2 cams will never have that alignment hole in between the lobes. Maybe that will help.

truth to this. i got scammed on a fake set of tuner1's a few years back. the holes were what got me skeptical in the first place. there were a lot of sets of fake ones going around, not sure how many are still out there
I'm curious to see that one, considering the person you're spouting false to was the former sales manager that you more than likely purchased them from "a couple of years ago".....
Don't worry, we'll wait

Your not the first person I have herd make this claim. I can attest to the FACT that I had a set of CAST "Tuner1's" that had the alignment holes. I was not to confirm without a doubt that they were authentic, but the were most defiantly had the holes and were NOT steel.

Thank you Natural Aspirations for your input. I don't know whether the cores are cast or steel, but they do in fact have holes. *tap* *tap* *tap* lol
@TheShodan thanks for the support buddy.
People can take my advice or not. Makes no difference to me. I will still offer it even if others feel they know better.
I worked for skunk2 for nearly 10 years and never, ever, not once saw a set in their facility with holes.
/shrug.
I have seen SO many people with SO many stories about skunk cams that its hard to know what the real story is.
It has been my experience that far more often than not, people who buy used cams get ripped off. Buy new with a warranty or roll the dice.
Best of luck!

welp sorry chimp my mistake
I'm at work for weeks on end so I thought I didn't have a pic of the cams with me, but I just so happen to have one on my phone, no holes! Memory didn't serve me right, oh well
