Default 99-00 civic radiator support question

Just a quick question, is the 99-00 civic radiator support a direct bolt on for 96-98 civics?

No. The radiator support is welded in.

You can replace it but requires welding. If you are doing this make sure you mock it up and all your body panels line up before welding.

You will need to break the welds on the old core support and braze/weld them in. The 96-98 have different head lamp spacing. It is possible to use either of them interchangeably, but you will need to modify the head lamp mounting points a bit to make them truly bolt-on.
