Default EG Hatch Swapping Power Steering to Manual Steering?

I have 2 hatches right now and the clean one is a 93 Si and I want to put a 94 VX manual steering rack in the Si chassis.

I know the crossmembers are different part numbers between the Si and VX for the power and manual racks, but can they be swapped directly or does there need to be fabrication and/or other stuff that needs done? I did some research and I've heard a little of both ways, so I'm a little confused. I'd rather not drop the crossmember out if I don't have to to make it work. Ideally, I'd like to just bolt the manual rack right into the Si crossmember, but I figured I was ask first.

I believe the only difference is the clamp/bracket holding the rack on the passenger side of the vehicle. its smaller dia. to hold the smaller dia. of the manual rack.

the mount points on the drivers side should be the same. and you shouldn't have to take more than the drivers side wheel off to get it outta there.

hope that helps,
