So I tried to pull CEL codes off my 1996 obd1 accord today, but the light wont blink, just like there wouldnt be any paperclip in it, what could it be? I can pull codes off of my other accord with this same paperclip so nothing wrong on my method ;p

help please!

 

If the light isnt blinking or staying solid when you put the paperclip the bulb is likely burned out. When you turn the ignition to on the check engine light should turn on then turn off. If not then the bulb is burned out.

 

nothing wrong with the bulb, the light is turning on and off like it should when putting on ignition. Probably the wirings messed up, gonna check where im losing contact.
