Default Headlight Adjustment help

Good evening all,

I want to apologize in advance just in case this is a stupid question. I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX and my driver side headlight is pointing towards the heavens. Not only is this annoying for the oncoming drivers and the drivers that I am behind, but it doesn't do much to light up the street for me. I have looked on the forms, Google, and YouTube and even read the Hanes' Manual and I cannot find the "adjustment gear" on my car as described in the places I mentioned above. What I did find, was a white plastic 6mm (what looks like) adjustment **** that I have to use an allen key, tilted at a 45 degree angle, to turn. I turned it a few times but didn't really see much movement (mainly because it was done during the day and I really couldn't see the light beam too well. Is this the "adjustment gear" that I am looking for to make the adjustments that I need for my headlights? Also, where is the "adjustment gear" to adjust my headlights left and right?

Thank you in advance!

- L.H.

To my knowledge, yes. I believe the car is completely unmolested.
