I am stuck in Florida over 1000 miles away from home, and my AC quit working.
Started off by hooking up an AC manifold set. Equal pressure between low-side and high-side, meaning compressor is not working.
Checked fuses, fuses are fine
Checked the relay, relay is fine
If I put a jumper between the connectors where the relay sits, the compressor makes some noise, attempting to turn on, but the AC doesn't actually come on.
Pulled off the AC clutch, which to me looks pretty bad. I'll let you judge:

I was going to remove any extra shims that may have been by the clutch, but there were none to remove.
My guess is at this point, it's something to do with the clutch. Is there anything else that it could be? I have basic tools with me, but being 1000 miles away from home, I wouldn't feel comfortable removing the power steering pump, alternator, etc required to remove the pulley.
Any suggestions?

Hi. I think your compressor's magnetic clutch is busted. You could fix it with a replacement kit, but it may not last long, considering the compressor might have leaked out most, if not all, of its oil (second pic). It may last you the trip home and a bit more, though. Better save up for a new compressor, eventually.
