Default B16a1 performance

i plan on putting a b16a1 into my 89 civ dx. after i put the engine in i have about 3500 to put into makin more power. i was thinkin about a gude head package(ported tr, intake manifold, head and cams). i wanna hit 13's in the 1/4 for the cheapest. i plan on getting rid of the car in 2 years. whats yall advice for performance?

stock b16 throw a 65 or 75 shot at it...13's no problem...cheap.

Hmm...I know this isn't the thing in question...but I can't help but to ask:

Why are you dumping all this money into a car you're getting rid of in 2 years? You know you're never going to make that money back right? I mean, you'll be lucky to break even when you sell that car...

I dunno man...to answer your 1st question, BOOST is the easiest way to go fast besides N02, and that's what I'd do with 3k5.

the reason i will get rid of the car is because of emissions. but i want to have a little bit of power for the next 2 years.

Dont sink money into the car BUT go with nitrous and slicks on the B16. You can take the squeeze and slicks onto your next project. Also gutting is cheap

gutted on gas with slicks = 12's
