Electronics between Aif filter and air intake
Hello, I am new to car mechanics. Although the bit i learned so far i feel SO EMPOWERED!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
and so i am working remotely with a group doing an open source vapor fuel project and this system will vaporize gas and send it into the engine and significantly increase the MPGs. I have been instructed to verify that there are no electronic componets or sensors in line between the air filter and the air intake. the vapor needs to be added after a sensor, otherwise electricity will risk a POW! BOOM!
Does anyone know how i can verify this? Are there any diagrams of the air system for my 2003 honda civic sedan ex automatic 4door?
Thank you sooo0o00000ooooo much. I feel like im trading in unknown waters here.

Map sensor is on the throttle body. I'm not sure I understand this theory? You're trying to add uncharted fuel into the intake in order to get more MPGs?
pardon the extranious information the essence of my question is I have been instructed to verify that there are no electronic componets or sensors in line between the air filter and the air intake. Can anyone help me? is there a diagram of the air system?
I really do appreciate it guys, thank you so much, i dont know how else to figure it out
