Icon2 Oil does not return to block from valve cover!

My engine is a D16Y7, 206k miles (But VERY well maintained!) - The other day I noticed that out of nowhere I started smoking when accelerating, so today I took it to my mechanic - We took off the valve cover, and the whole area was filled with oil! I found the oil return ports, and ran a coathanger through them, then blew compressed air through, and put it all back together - For about 30 miles or so the car didn't smoke, and the pickup was noticeably better, then it started blowing smoke when taking off - We took the valve cover off again, and it was once again full of oil o.O

What could be the cause of this? All seals were just replaced approx 4 months ago, along with timing belt and waterpump (I had done a Seafoam treatment a month prior, so I was assuming the Seafoam knocked loose some carbon, and it was plugging the port) ...

Did you try replacing the oil filter?

After - I did the Seafoam about 4 months ago, and I change my oil/filter every 3000-4000 miles, so there's been MANY oil changes since the treatment

Regardless, I would start by replacing the oil filter.

This was occurring since before my last change, but will give it a shot - Thankfully I have a couple of new filters in my garage, so this should only take a few minutes

New oil and filter, drove about 30 miles, let it sit approx 10-15 minutes, and pulled the valve cover off, and once again the oil is pooled around everything :-/

(No sputtering or loss of power, though - It's odd)

So many 3000-mile oil treatments in a 4 month period?

Right. Okay.

Where does the oil read on the dipstick? Is the oil pressure sensor plugged in? If it is, does your oil light come on? Do you have access to a real oil pressure gauge?

Right. Okay.
I have been driving from RI to Vermont and back every day (450-500 miles a day) for the past 6 months, so I'm hitting 3000 miles in about 2 weeks ...

Oil on dipstick is only showing about half way between level markers on stick, sensor is plugged in and working (oil light came on yesterday morning, which made me check in the first place) - I have an oil pressure pillar gauge, but have to get a sandwich adapter as soon as the parts store opens
